Amanda Leveille is a two-time Isobel Cup champion, three-time NCAA national champion, two-time PHF Goaltender of the Year, and the all-time leader in wins and shutouts in PHF history. She played four seasons at the University of Minnesota (2012–2016), posting 32 shutouts in 116 games with a career 1.18 GAA and .947 save percentage. After graduating, she spent eight seasons as a professional — first with the Buffalo Beauts, then the Minnesota Whitecaps, and finally with PWHL Minnesota.
She retired in July 2024. In her retirement announcement, she wrote that she would be staying in the game and transitioning to coaching full-time. She has already been doing exactly that, working as a goaltender coach in Minnesota, including at the high school level.
What makes Amanda's background unusual – and valuable for youth development – is that she grew up playing AAA boys hockey, competed at the highest levels of the women's game for over a decade, and has long been interested in the psychological side of the position. As a college player, she expressed a goal of becoming a sport psychologist. That instinct toward the mental game is central to what she brings to Headspace Hockey.
